CUET Language and General Test

A short course for the language paper and the General Aptitude Test of CUET UG. It covers reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar in context, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and decision making, and a weekly plan for awareness and mock tests. Each chapter has an overview, concept pages with worked steps and a ten question practice set. What you will cover: • Reading comprehension: passage skeleton, inference with textual support, annotation and an accuracy first speed plan • Vocabulary in context: tone, register, key grammar points and a personal miss list • Quantitative aptitude: friendly fractions, percentage and ratio, data reading, approximation and successive changes • Logical reasoning: data sufficiency, arrangements, decisions under conditions and time control • Awareness from verified sources, a weekly mini mock and comfort with the computer based test The pattern used is from the CUET UG 2026 information bulletin: 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, +5 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one, with the General Aptitude Test covering general knowledge, current affairs, mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning. This is a themed starter course written with English examples; it does not cover the other 12 language papers or give a current affairs digest. Each of the 5 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes. Expect roughly 10 hours of self-paced study.
