CUET Commerce

A concise, NCERT-based course for the Commerce domain papers of CUET UG: Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics. Each chapter has a short overview, concept pages with formulas and worked steps, and a practice set with ten quick questions. What you will cover: • Accountancy: the accounting equation, golden rules, journal entries, the cash book and errors that a trial balance does not show • Final accounts, adjustments, ratios and the cash flow statement • Business Studies: nature of management, Fayol's principles, planning, organising, staffing and directing • Business environment, the marketing mix and consumer protection • Economics: demand, elasticity, short run costs, national income, real and nominal GDP, sectors and human development • Percentage bases, index numbers and a case reading method The pattern used in the course is from the CUET UG 2026 information bulletin: 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, +5 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. This is a themed starter course, not full coverage of every chapter, and facts such as consumer forum limits or economic data should be checked against the latest official source. Each of the 7 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes. Expect roughly 18 hours of self-paced study.
