A foundation course for first-time banking aspirants who want to build the speed and accuracy that bank prelims papers reward. It covers the three prelims areas: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English. Each chapter has short concept pages with worked steps, a mistake page and a ten question practice set. What you will cover: • Simplification and approximation: BODMAS, fractions and decimals, rounding and anchors • Percentages, ratio, averages and rates • Number series patterns and wrong number questions • Data interpretation: tables, pie charts and caselets • Reasoning starters: inequalities, syllogisms, coding, directions, ranking and letters • English error spotting: agreement, articles, modifiers and idioms For orientation, the IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI notification lists a prelims of 100 questions and 100 marks in 60 minutes: English Language 30 questions (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude 35 questions (30 marks) and Reasoning Ability 35 questions (40 marks), each section separately timed at 20 minutes, with a minimum cut-off in each section. Patterns differ between exams and years, so always read the official notification of the exam you are applying for. This course covers fundamentals and does not include current affairs or banking awareness. Each of the 6 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes. Expect roughly 14 hours of self-paced study.
