A target course for bank exam aspirants who already know the basics and now want speed, set strategy and awareness. It covers the high weight areas of bank prelims and mains: data interpretation, arithmetic, puzzles, seating and input output, English, banking and financial awareness, and sectional time strategy. Every chapter has concept pages with worked steps and a practice plan, followed by short quick review pages in the English, awareness and strategy chapters. What you will cover: • Data interpretation: caselets, mixed charts and ratio bridges • Arithmetic speed: compound interest, time and work, boats and streams, alligation • Puzzles, circular and linear seating, and input output • English: cloze, para jumbles and error spotting • Banking and financial awareness: RBI tools, types of banks, asset quality, schemes • Sectional time strategy: attempt order, skip rules and mock review Pattern note: the IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI notification lists a prelims of 100 questions and 100 marks in 60 minutes (English 30, Quantitative Aptitude 35, Reasoning 35, each separately timed for 20 minutes) and a mains of 4 objective tests with 170 questions in 160 minutes plus a descriptive paper of 2 questions in 30 minutes. A wrong answer carries a penalty of one fourth of the marks of that question. Other exams differ, so always read the official notification of your exam. Each chapter has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes. Figures for rates and ratios in the awareness chapter are only examples, so check the RBI website for current values.
