A target course for NDA and CDS aspirants who know the syllabus and want speed. It covers elementary mathematics shortcuts for the CDS paper, the papers and marking rules from the official notices, and quick methods for English and general knowledge. What you will cover: • Elementary mathematics speed: percentages, ratio, averages, time and work, speed, mensuration and basic algebra • Papers and marking: the NDA and CDS papers from the notices, the one third penalty, and a time plan for a two hour paper • English and general knowledge speed: spotting errors, vocabulary in context, a revision method and a current events method Pattern note: the UPSC notices for NDA and NA 2026 list a Mathematics paper of 300 marks and a General Ability Test of 600 marks (English 200 and General Knowledge 400), each of two and a half hours, with a written total of 900 marks. The CDS 2026 notices list English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics of 100 marks and two hours each for the IMA, INA and AFA, and English and General Knowledge for the OTA. Wrong answers lose one third of the marks of the question. Patterns can change, so read the notice of the exam and year in which you apply. This course states no dates, vacancies or cut-offs. Each of the 3 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes.
