A course for students of Classes 6 to 8 who want to move from school sums to contest style thinking. Lessons are short, with worked pictures, common mistakes and a recap, and each chapter ends in a practice test. What you will cover: • Number systems: place value, divisibility shortcuts, HCF and LCM • Fractions, ratios and percentages without a calculator • Early algebra: expressions, like terms and simple equations as balance stories • Geometry and symmetry: angle chasing, reflection, rotation and congruence • Data, reasoning and counting: averages, tables, graphs and the multiplication principle • Weekly mixed sets: timed warm-ups, review and weak-spot loops This is a general preparation course and is not tied to one named olympiad. Patterns and syllabi differ by exam and year, so check the official brochure of the olympiad you plan to take. Each of the 6 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes.
