A foundation course for first-time railway exam aspirants. It builds the four areas that the Railway Recruitment Board computer based tests ask about: mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, general science at Class 10 level, and general awareness. It suits the RRB NTPC, Group D, Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician exams. Lessons are short, with a worked example, a mistake list and a recap, and each topic ends with a quick check. What you will cover: • Number work: BODMAS, HCF and LCM, fractions, ratio and percentages • Arithmetic: averages, profit and loss, interest, time and work, speed and distance, calendar and clock • Mensuration, algebra, geometry, trigonometry basics and statistics • Reasoning: analogies, series, coding, operations, blood relations, directions, syllogism, Venn diagrams, ranking, seating and data sufficiency • General science for Group D and Technician: motion, energy, light, sound, electricity, matter, acids and bases, life processes and health • General awareness: history, geography, polity and economy, Indian Railways and transport, computers and current affairs Pattern note: the RRB NTPC CEN 06/2026 notice lists a first stage computer based test of 100 questions, 100 marks and 90 minutes (General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, General Intelligence and Reasoning 30) with a deduction of one third of a mark for each wrong answer. The Group D notice (CEN 08/2024) lists 100 questions in 90 minutes (General Science 25, Mathematics 25, Reasoning 30, General Awareness and Current Affairs 20), and the Technician Grade III notice (CEN 02/2025) lists 100 questions in 90 minutes (Mathematics 25, Reasoning 25, General Science 40, General Awareness 10). The ALP notice (CEN 01/2025) lists a first stage of 75 questions in 60 minutes. These splits are indicative and can change, so always read the official notice of the exam you are applying for. This course does not state dates, vacancies or cut-offs. Each of the 7 chapters has a practice test that draws 10 fresh questions per attempt from a tagged bank of 20, with unlimited retakes.
