- 22–23 October: seat allotment processing.
- 24 October: Round 1 result.
- 26 October to 2 November: reporting/joining.
- 6–11 November: Round 2 registration (as per MCC’s tentative schedule).

- 23 Oct: CBSE private-candidate forms for Class 12 (2027) close at the normal fee; late fee of ₹2,000 applies from 24 to 30 October. CBSE’s Class 12 special exams for West Asia start (until 28 October).
- 24 Oct: NEET PG Round 1 result.
- 25 Oct: Bihar STET 2026 CBT begins (now until 21 November, after BSEB moved the 4 November paper to 21 November; updated 23 October 2026).
- 28 Oct: last date for UGC NET December 2026 applications.
(Updated 25 October 2026: NTA opened JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 registration on 24 October 2026. Apply on jeemain.nta.nic.in by 22 November 2026 (11:50 PM); the late-fee window is 23–26 November and corrections are 27–29 November. The official notice fixes the exam on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027, replacing the earlier reported 22–30 January window. The city slip is due on 30 December and admit cards on 13 January. Session 2 is on 2–7 April 2027.)
